Draco's Muse

This is strictly a place for me to post my [druna] fanfiction as well as a place for me to ramble & vent when it comes to my writing. I have made graphic posts in the past, but 99% of my posts now are just text posts.

I’m really stupidly excited about my fic now, and the prospect that the majority of it will be set in a Potions classroom.

In The Mourning

I have posted this fic before, but now it’s ~officially~ on FF! With a semi-promise of a companion piece that I might write if my muse cooperates. Though I do feel obligated to tell you that when I say “companion piece”, it doesn’t necessarily mean continuing from where I left off, staying in Luna’s POV, or even the same timeline. So.

I figured out why I’ve been blocked on my newest fic & it’s for the most ANNOYING reason, I swear to god. I can’t figure out what year to set it in. Normally that’s never been a problem for me because it always just comes naturally. Clearly this fic is proving itself to be more difficult than I had originally anticipated and now I’m just annoyed.

Remember that one time I thought having a seperate HP blog would be awesomesauce?

& it was when I had the time and attention span for it. Now, though, it’s become a bit too time consuming & I’m trying to focus on getting into school and shit and I don’t really have the time to run a ~themed~ blog. So this is going back to what I had originally intended it to be: a place for me to post my fic and ramble and complain about how much I hate characters for getting in the way of my head!canon otp. I know it doesn’t make sense to complain about characters I’M writing, get over it.

In conclusion:

  • I will no longer be reblogging/posting graphics here (or maybe I will on days I feel like it), just boring written stuff when I’m able to actually WRITE.
  • If anybody cares, I’ve still got my personal blog I’m still VERY active on and I still love hp/druna/etc just as much over there.
  • I’ll probably follow the majority of who I’m following now over there so yay~

BLACK MARCHThursday, March 1st 2012 to Saturday 31st March 2012
With the continuing campaigns for Internet-censoring litigation such as SOPA and PIPA, and the closure of sites such as Megaupload under allegations of ‘piracy’ and ‘conspiracy’ the time has come to take a stand against music, film and media companies’ lobbyists.
The only way is to hit them where it truly hurts.Their profit margins.
March 2012 is the end of the 1st quarter in economic reports worldwide.
Do not buy a single record. Do not download a single song, legally or illegally. Do not go to see a single film in cinemas, or download a copy, Do not buy a DVD in the stores. Do not buy a videogame. Do not buy a single book or magazine.
Wait the 4 weeks to buy them in April: see the film later, etc. Holding out for just 4 weeks, maximum, will leave a gaping hole in media and entertainment companies’ profits for the 1st quarter, an economic hit which will in turn be observed by governments worldwide as stocks and shares will blip from a large enough loss of incomes. This action can give a statement of intent:
”We will not tolerate the Media Industries’ lobbying for legistation which will censor the internet.”
